Getting an estimate
When you are looking to do a local move, if
you're calling major van lines, keep in mind
that the major van lines for the most part do
not do local moves--they only do long distance
moves. So you will get referred to their local
affiliate.
You can easily use that company, just find
out the name of the local affiliate and then
run a BBB check. And I would run a better
business real check on any moving company that
you're going to pick out. You can also check on
yelp to see how a moving company is doing,
although it's not a real thorough picture of
the company. But then, check them out with BBB
and YELP and some of the review sites.
And don't always take the cheapest estimate
because you will have their people going in and
they will be handling all your goods. You want
to get probably the middle of the road
estimate.
Because it's hard to find a good Concord
